Meru's scheduler lets you generate and disseminate schedules that drive staff satisfaction and patient safety at the click of a button.
Contact UsAdd your nurses, ask them to add their preferred shifts, and upload the documents and agreements that govern shift scheduling for your organization or department. Meru's technology will process that information at the click of a button, allowing you to generate a schedule that meets all the rules, while also optimizing for nurse preferences. If you are spending more than 5 minutes a week creating a schedule, Meru can help you take your time back.
Nurses fill out their preferred shifts, and our artificial intelligence engine balances their preferences alongside preset departmental needs and rules. Nurses whose preferences are not fulfilled are prioritized in the following scheduling cycle. This ensures equity in preference-based shift scheduling, reducing burnout and helping to retain staff, while decreasing administrative burden on nurse leaders.
After the schedule is published, Meru's Scheduler automatically facilitates the exchange of shifts between parties that would like to exchange them. The scheduler validates that any swaps that occur are compliant with your scheduling rules so you don't have to. Nurses can also directly post shifts they would like to exchange, and other nurses in your department can claim them.
